Free AI tools from my own business

Less waiting.More doing.

Seven free tools from my own business, to stay on top of email, turn post comments into leads, check what I send, and get more out of AI.

Seven free tools

Pick your problem.

The Email Kit runs in the Claude app on your computer (Python only for the optional Wake Gate). The other six use Claude Code, Claude's tool for working with files on your computer; each guide walks you through it. Wake Gate, Auto-Handoff and YouTube Brief also use Python.

Email Kit

My email system.

One email at a time.
A draft in your voice.

Example, with made-up names

  1. 01 / 05

    It watches.

A free script keeps an eye on your inbox. The AI only wakes up when real mail arrives.

  2. 02 / 05

    It sorts.

See who replied, what needs an answer, who you are waiting on and what you promised. Quiet threads get a polite nudge drafted after two business days.

  3. 03 / 05

You read, one at a time.

Each email comes with a short summary and a draft reply. Say “next” when you are done.

  4. 04 / 05

    From your phone, by voice.

“Shorter.” “Warmer.” “Next.” Your computer does the work, so it needs to be on.

  5. 05 / 05

    It sounds like you.

It learns how you write from your own sent emails, so drafts sound like you, not a robot.

Reel to Funnel

Turn comments into contacts.

Post a reel that says "Comment GUIDE." Everyone who comments gets your link by DM. When they sign up, they land in your CRM with tags and on your email list, automatically.

The page, the signup sync and a checklist to test it are automated. Publishing the reel and the GoHighLevel DM workflow still take a few clicks from you.

Saves you from answering every comment by hand and copying emails into your list.

Reel to Funnel

Example, fictional data

  1. 01

    @sam.bakes commented GUIDE

  2. 02

DM sent: "Here is the guide: yourdomain.com/guide"

  3. 03

    Page opened: yourdomain.com/guide

  4. 04

Sam signed up. Tagged guide-optin, social-media

  5. 05

Added to your email list. "Nothing sent until you set it up."

Wake Gate

“I pay for AI that sits there checking for nothing.”

Wake Gate

Run your email workflow when matching mail arrives.

Your AI stays off until the email you care about shows up, so it is not using your AI plan to check all day.

Saves you from paying attention to an inbox all day, and saves your AI plan from checking it for nothing.

Wake Gate · today

Example

  1. Checked. Nothing that matches.AI off
  2. Checked. Nothing that matches.AI off
  3. Checked. Nothing that matches.AI off
  4. Delivery question from Nora Ellis matches.AI wakes up

The workflow you set up starts for that one email. Gmail access is read-only.

Auto-Handoff

Keep your place. Start fresh.

Long AI chats get slow and use up your plan. This starts a fresh chat that picks up where you left off.

Saves you from re-explaining a long project to the AI every time a chat gets slow.

Long chatGetting slow
Fresh chatPicked up where you left off

Example

Where we stopped
Comparing two homepage drafts.
Decision saved
Keep the opening focused on customer replies.
Next step
Tighten the opening, then compare it with the chosen example.

How I measured this

In my own Claude Code logs for one day (Oct 16, 2026), 97% of recorded tokens were the AI re-reading context it already had, and my four long chief-of-staff sessions made up 68% of the day's total.

Recorded tokens from local logs, not billed cost.

Fact Check

Catch the wrong number before your client does.

It checks numbers against sources it opens and flags what it cannot back up. You review the result before sending.

Fact CheckBefore sending

Example

Claim in the draft

The workshop starts at 10:00.

Corrected draft

The workshop starts at 11:00.

Source opened: sample event sheet

Start time: 11:00.

Use the corrected time after reviewing the source.

YouTube Brief

Know in two minutes if a video is worth an hour.

Paste a YouTube link. It reads the transcript and gives you a short brief with a verdict.

The two minutes is reading time. If captions are unavailable, it tells you.

From the sample video:

Group questions
Draft answers
Review exceptions

YouTube BriefTwo-minute read
45-minute sample video
Brief

Example

Turning customer questions into draft replies

What it is
A workflow for grouping repeated customer questions before drafting replies.
For your business
Try it when the same questions keep filling your inbox.
Missing from the example
How unusual requests are handled.

Verdict: Worth a demo.

Useful for repeated questions, with review still needed.

Gauntlet Loop

“This one has to be excellent, not just done.”

Gauntlet Loop

Give important work a second set of eyes.

One AI makes it. A second AI compares it to a real example you pick, and it improves for up to three rounds.

First draftRound 1

A powerful solution for your business.

Second AI, compared with your real example: Too vague. Name the work and the next step.

Revised draftRound 2

Example
